Hi Guys, this post will tell you how to root your Gionee P3 & install Custom recovery.

HOW TO ROOT:
Rooting Gionee P3 is very easy. Just you need to install on APK and it will do the job.
INSTALL CUSTOM RECOVERY:
Here is a link for custom recovery. It is working fine and you can use it to take NAND backup before cooking custom ROMs

HOW TO ROOT:

- Download the APK from the below post

While writing this post Framaroot-1.8.1.apk was the latest apk version - Install APK and enable Setting > Developer options > USB Debugging
- Select Install SuperSU from dropdown and click on Boromir
- It will install all the necessary files and reboots mobile
- Your mobile will be ROOTED
