Block Ads on Android Apps and Browser

Once the proxy setting has been set up, the app will start doing its work and block all the useless and unwanted ads on from the browser and Android apps. Remember, once you have enabled the Adblock Plus, it will keep blocking those annoyed ads unless and until you don’t disable it.

After installing the extension, you need to just restart the browser and check if ads are still running or not. If you want to configure more options to block the ads then go to Adblock Plus extension from menu and access other options/
Block Ads with AdAway App
Another method or just say an app which can help you block the unwanted ads on your Android phone is called AdAway App. But to enjoy the benefit from this app, you need to root your Android phone.
Stop the Ads
Once you have rooted the handset, enable the Unknown Sources through Settings >> Security >> Applications. Now the download and install the AdAway App on your Android phone. Once the installation is done, the application will scan the device compatibility. It will ask for root access grant permission. Now click the Download Files and Apply Ad Blocking; and wait to let the app modify the Ads settings. After you have applied the Ad Blocking, restart you Android phone. Now the ads on Apps and game along with browsers will get blocked. This will automatically block all the ads; though you can disable the Ad Blocker manually when you don’t require it.
Make sure to use Google Chrome as browser to access internet
If you are not using Google Chrome, then it is recommended download it now; as it is one of the most trusted browsers for Android phones. You need to go through little activity to stop those unwanted ads and pop ups on your phone via Google Chrome.

  • Access Settings
  • Go to Bandwidth Management
  • Turn Reduce Data Usage > On
